Welcome Back NationTV, The dramatic conclusion of Moon Knight episode 6 revealed that Khonshu and his avatar are much weaker than Ammit and Arthur Harrow. Back in 2011, Marvel Studios trod softly when introducing their first MCU pantheon, the Asgardians; they hinted these cosmic beings were ancient aliens rather than true gods, with Thor tossing out a line about coming from a place where science and magic were the same things. Moon Knight, however, took a very different approach to the Egyptian gods.
Moon Knight: Which God's avatar are You?
Moon Knight built war in heaven between the gods Khonshu and Ammit, where the gods on earth also fought them. Oddly enough, though, it is notable that Amit and her avatar Arthur Harrow seemed much more powerful than any of the other deities. Amit would have destroyed Koncho had Moon Knight not teamed up with Tarewet's new avatar, Scarlet Scarab, to perform a ritual that trapped her inside her host and left her weak. The strength difference between these two beings was quite remarkable - but fortunately, it's easy to explain.
Moon Knight: Characters Ranked By Likability
Amit wasn't impressed with Khuncho when she first saw him in Moon Night Episode 6. She told him "Oh, Khuncho, for god's sake, you're of low faith" - and it was more than just sarcasm. It's a nod to a somewhat typical fantasy trope, where gods exist in coexistence with humans. In Moon Night, Amit and other deities are triggered by the faith of humans. The more people believe in them, and the stronger their faith, the more powerful the gods. Khuncho's followers were small (albeit complex). In turn, Harrow founded a sect dedicated to Amit scattered around the world, with believers willing to die for their faith. There is an ironic feeling in which Amit was thanking Harrow for her strength.
