The Byrds fight to finally escape their criminal life as Ruth sets out on a quest for revenge in the Ozark Season 4 Part Two trailer. Jason Bateman and Laura Linney lead the cast of this hit Netflix crime drama alongside Sofia Houplitz, Skylar Gartner, Julia Garner, Lisa Emery, Charlie Tahan, Janet McTeer, Jessica Frances Dukes, Felix Solis, Damien Young, and Alfonso Herrera. Ozark is about financial advisor Marty Purdy who is forced to move his family from Chicago to the titular Missouri area to create a new money-laundering scheme for a Mexican drug cartel in hopes of keeping them all alive.
Ozark in Season 4 sees Marty and Wendy come into contact with cartel boss Omar Navarro after the shocking murder of Helen Pierce at the end of Season 3. The two must find a way to keep an increasingly dangerous crime boss happy while under the watchful eye of his reckless nephew and Lieutenant Jaffe and work out a deal between Navarro and the FBI that will allow their family to get away with cleanliness. However, local heroin supplier Darlene Snell creates problems in an attempt to revive her business in the city. With the help of her former ally Ruth, Marty and Wendy find their plans complicated at every turn.
With only a month left until his comeback, Netflix has finally revealed the sequel to Season Two of Ozark. Tuned to the tune of Styx's song "Renegade," the video sees the Byrds make their last desperate attempts to escape their criminal life, only for an enraged Ruth to threaten their plans by embarking on a quest for revenge.
Season 4 of Ozark Part 1 ended memorably with Darlene Wyatt's shocking murder at the hands of Javi because the former refused to let go of the heroin sale, with Ruth learning of Javi's responsibility in their deaths and telling Marty that he would have to kill to prevent her from killing Javi. The trailer for Ozark Season 4 Part 2 alludes to the devastation that will come from Ruth's quest to avenge the murder of her cousin, whom she desperately tries to keep from Darlene's hands in the first half of the season. Although the new trailer indicates that Ruth will shoot Javi, the question remains whether it will prove to be a final blow or if he survives and leads to more chaos for Byrds.
The biggest point of curiosity for the trailer for the second part of the fourth part of Ozark and the episodes themselves is what is to come from the car accident scene at the beginning of the fourth season of the first part. The moment saw the Byrds on their way to a one-time FBI interview hoping to finally escape under the Navarro Cartel's thumb, only to be hit by a truck and roll in an attempt to dodge, appearing briefly in the new trailer and leaving several people suffocated if he was found to survive. Only time will tell when the second season of Ozark Season 4 premieres on April 29.
