everything you need to know About Lucifer Season 5

The fifth season of Lucifer
is officially on the horizon. The series is inspired by a character from Neil Gaiman’s
comic book series The Sandman, which premiered on FOX in 2016, only to be canceled in May of 2018 after three seasons. One month later, Netflix decided to save the series from eternal damnation. After season 4 has been truncated, the show is ready to extend his legs in his new home.

There is also a good chance for Season 6, with superstar Tom Ellis and Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich all in the process of securing their own deals, although it may not materialize. Meanwhile, here is all you need to know about Lucifer Season 5.

Season 5 Will Be Split

After news of Lucifer renewing for the fifth season, Netflix announced last July that it would contain 16 big episodes, up from the 10 episodes in Season 4.

Lucifer Season 5 will air the first 8 episodes in the first half and another 8 episode in the second half

One Episode Will Be in Black-and-White

Netflix also sparked the first photo of season five with Entertainment Tonight in October, which showed Ellis sitting on the piano with star Lesley-Ann Brandt, who plays Maze. It has also been revealed that the episode will be a musical play inspired by Noir taking place in the 1940s from the alternate universe.

The Show Will (Finally) Introduce God

Despite being such a looming presence on Lucifer, God will make his appearance. Gaiman presented the voice of God in a Season 3 bonus episode, Entertainment Weekly declared in January that actor Dennis Haysbert would play the omnipotent deity.
