Has Netflix confirmed Lucifer's release date for season five?
Netflix has remained silent about when to release the new season from Lucifer - until now.
Posted on April 8, Netflix France dropped its biggest idea after the series was on its way.
They wrote: “Can you feel the flames from hell? Lucifer season five arrives soon… (we promise we’ll give you a date).”
This left fans extremely excited as the creators remained silent about the exact release date of the show so far.
Likewise, some viewers were left concerned after filming paused in season five during production in season five final.
However, viewers don't seem to need to worry because the series splits into two versions.
This means that there will be two parts of eight episodes for viewers.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, she said: "We are very fortunate that 99 percent of our shows have been filmed.
"So they can still broadcast the first episodes and I imagine maybe, I don't know, but I imagine it will likely be around the same time when we aired the last seasons. So maybe May or June?"
News that the release date is about to send fans into a frenzy on Twitter with many enthusiasts of new episodes.
One fan posted a tweet on Netflix saying, "This is like an emotional rollercoaster" "We are demonic, we know,".
Another guess is that the show may come on May 8 again, but Netflix teased: "It was last year."
For now, Netflix appears to keep its viewers guessing about exactly when to land.
But when it finally arrives, is expected to pick up the new series from the end of season four, which saw Lucifer (played by Tom Ellis) return to hell after Chloe Decker (Lauren German) admitted her feelings for him.
Speaking of where we'll see him next, German actor spoke to Entertainment Tonight as well.
She said, "Season 5 picks up ... Chloe is heartbroken, but she tries to play pretty nicely with Maze (Lesley Ann-Brandt).
"They go out, drink a lot, dance. But also, maze helps her as a bounty hunter in LAPD.
"Chloe has no idea where Lucifer is. She is sad but has no idea how to show it."
Ellis also teased that Lucifer might not spend much time in hell in the upcoming outing,
He added to the publication: "You find out a lot of stuff in the first episode actually about what Lucifer's intentions are, so I'll leave it at that as a tease."
